Mariachi band, folklorico dancers kick off 78th annual Mexican Independence Day Parade

The beloved and traditional Mexican Independence Day Parade returned to East Los Angeles on Sunday with the theme "Mexican Heritage." Mariachi Herencia Michoacana and Cathedral City High Ballet Folklorico kicked off the festivities in Eas Los Angeles.
