
It's a major milestone in the road to recovery for the victims of the Palisades Fire.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced Tuesday they are almost done with debris removal in the Pacific Palisades. They have conducted more than 4,000 property debris removals over the last eight months.
Although the progress is ahead of schedule, it has been met with some criticism from homeowners.
The city of Malibu issued its first Palisades Fire Rebuilding Permit to a homeowner to begin construction.
