Oscars 2026: Thousands work around the clock to prep for show

Crews in Hollywood are putting the final touches on the Dolby Theater and surrounding area as preparations near the finish line for the 98th Academy Awards.

Workers have rolled out the carpet but kept it covered in plastic to protect it ahead of the event. Lights are being installed and adjusted while teams continue to build out the venue.

Organizers said thousands of people are working around the clock to ensure everything is just right before Hollywood's biggest night.
