Amtrak suspends service between San Luis Obispo, LA

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Amtrak has temporarily suspended service between San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles because of the storm.

There are two routes that are affected: the Pacific Surfliner route and the Coast Starlight.

There will be no alternate transportation provided for passengers on the Pacific Surfliner route, Amtrak said, but Coast Starlight passengers will be provided alternate transportation or accommodated on other trains.

Service between Los Angeles and San Diego was not affected at this point.
