LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Another storm with potentially heavy rainfall looms Easter weekend in Southern California, but the region will stay dry for another day Thursday.
Several inches of rain, along with thunderstorms, are possible this weekend. The rain is expected to start late Friday night before the storm intensifies Saturday and Sunday.
There could also be lingering rain through Monday morning. Rain and snow are expected in the mountains.
Until then, Los Angeles and Orange counties Thursday can expect partly sunny conditions amid a high of 68 degrees.
The valleys and the Inland Empire Thursday can expect similar conditions.
Beaches will see a mix of clouds and sunshine with a high of 64 and 2 to 6 ft. surf.
Mountain communities will see a sunny and breezy day. The high is set to reach 51, dropping to 28 at night.
Rain could arrive as soon as Thursday in the deserts. There's a 20% chance of rain amid an afternoon high of 64. Similar rain chances are on tap Friday.
