Willowbrook fatal shooting leads to homicide investigation

WILLOWBROOK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Sheriff's officials are looking for the killer of a man who was shot in the Willowbrook area of Los Angeles Saturday night.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to the scene in the 300 block of E. 142nd Street at about 5:15 p.m.

They discovered the victim in the driveway of a home he had been visiting, officials said. He was shot once and died at the scene.

Investigators were looking into what may have led up to the shooting, as they continued their search for the gunman.
