Man shot to death in Wilmington alley

WILMINGTON, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after a man died from a gunshot wound in Wilmington Wednesday evening.

Authorities said around 6:25 p.m. a man was found wounded in an alley in the 1300 block of Marine Avenue. Paramedics responded, but the 23-year-old victim died of the gunshot wound he sustained to his upper body.

Detectives did not have any leads on a suspect and hope the public can help provide more information on the incident.
