WINNETKA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A homicide investigation was underway in Winnetka after a woman's body was found inside a large storage container in the back of a home.

Around noon, authorities received reports of a possible homicide in the 19000 block of Keswick Street. The woman's body was then found, and investigators said she may have been in her 50s.

Someone also gave investigators a tip to a man, who was considered a possible person of interest, a few blocks from the property where the woman was found.

Authorities said it appeared a man and the woman lived together in the container. But it was unclear if the person of interest was the man she lived with.

Nearby residents said they were unaware that anyone lived behind the home in a shipping container.

It was unclear how long the woman lived in the container.

The investigation is ongoing.
