Laguna Niguel man arrested for roof-jumping stunts filmed on YouTube
Police say Anthony Armer has been arrested for trespassing after he filmed a series of dangerous stunts jumping from Orange County rootops for YouTube.

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A man seen on YouTube climbing onto rooftops and jumping into swimming pools in Orange County is now under arrest for trespassing, police say.

In one video, for example, a masked man is seen climbing up the stairs of a Newport Beach building on Oct. 6, making it out to the roof and jumping off, falling nearly 130 feet into Newport Harbor.

In other videos, he's jumped off cliffs into the ocean and into swimming pools.

"Very dangerous," said Sgt. Tim Kleiser with the Laguna Beach police. "One of the locations that he jumped into, there was someone in the swimming pool so we were very concerned for his safety and also the public safety."

Police examined the videos and determined where they had been filmed. They were then able to identify a suspect, Anthony Booth Armer - a 28 year old Laguna Niguel resident. He's now facing trespassing charges.

Police have additional videos where they are trying to identify the location. Anyone with information is asked to call Laguna Beach police at (949)497-0701.
