Deputy Miguel Meza, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesperson, said the victims were in stable condition. They are all expected to fully recover.
A second officer was transported from the scene with an ankle injury.
The second civilian who was shot was a neighbor across the street who was watching his 4-month-old grandson. The bullet traveled through the window and also struck that man in the face, the baby's father told Eyewitness News. The child was not injured.
Police also reported a child was inside the home with the suspect, but had since been removed from the residence.
Multiple police departments responded to the residential neighborhood as nearby homes were evacuated during the standoff between the suspect and law enforcement.
