3.8-magnitude earthquake strikes Baja California

BAJA CALIFORNIA, Mexico (KABC) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 struck Baja California, Mexico, on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The temblor, which was downgraded from a preliminary magnitude of 4.0, hit shortly before noon PT approximately 3.7 miles west of Alberto Oviedo Mota.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
