Brush fire near famed Vasquez Rocks in Agua Dulce area burns at least 24 acres

AGUA DULCE, Calif. (KABC) -- A brush fire burned roughly 24 acres near the famed Vasquez Rocks in the Agua Dulce area Tuesday before firefighters stopped forward progress of the blaze.

The so-called Baker Fire burned just north of the 14 Freeway near Agua Dulce Canyon Road, north of Avenida Donari. According to officials on the scene, forward progress was stopped a short time after the firefight began in the afternoon.

At least one structure was threatened. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
