Dustin MacLonan works at Snow Summit and said he's happy to see the mountains covered in white.
Depending on mountain location, skiers and snowboarders got to enjoy 3-5 inches of the white stuff, which one skier said was an early Christmas present.
"What better Southern California? You get snow for Thanksgiving. I can go home tomorrow and go to work -- it'd be nice and warm," said Ric Hammond, a Long Beach resident.
A spokesperson from Big Bear Mountain Resorts Properties said about 10,000 people have already visited their two properties in the past couple of days -- and Sunday's tally wasn't even in yet.
