ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- A massive fire ripped through a warehouse in Anaheim early Tuesday morning, resulting in hot spots that were still active hours after the flames began.

The blaze erupted about 12:45 a.m. at a flooring manufacturing business in the 1500 block of Anaheim Boulevard, according to Anaheim Fire & Rescue. The structure was fully involved with heavy smoke and flames as more than 50 firefighters began to arrive.

The fire was knocked down within two hours by first responders from the Anaheim, Orange, and Garden Grove fire departments. Minor flames were still visible at 4:30 a.m. as a mop-up operation continued.

"It was burning extremely hot," said Daron Wyatt, spokesman for Anaheim Fire & Rescue. "At one point we had to evacuate the south side of the building, due to the intense flames and wires coming down. There was also the threat of a wall on the south side of the structure being compromised and coming down."

No injuries were reported.

The warehouse was deemed a total loss. Nearby commercial units sustained minimal smoke damage, fire officials said.
