LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- After saying goodbye in March, the Goodyear Blimp is coming back at the end of October.
The company's new technologically-advanced airship is called the Wingfoot Two, and it's already started its 2,600-mile journey from Akron, Ohio, to the Los Angeles area.

The Wingfoot Two is a bit different from the previous fleet of blimps, which Goodyear retired earlier this year. It has a frame, which means it stays inflated when the helium is drained.
The new airship is also larger - almost the length of a football field - and it's faster, quieter and easier to fly.

Wingfoot Two is scheduled to arrive in Long Beach on Oct. 26.
