LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two downtown Los Angeles buildings will be considered for inclusion on the city's list of Historic-Cultural Monuments.

The consideration is coming from the Cultural Heritage Commission.

The first is Grand Central Market, which was built in 1898 but is currently popular for all of its food vendors.

The second is the 12-story Million Dollar Theater, which was one of the earliest and largest movie palaces when it opened in 1918.
