HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Four men have been charged in connection with a deadly robbery that claimed the life of a 23-year-old man outside of restaurant in Hollywood last month.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Jayon Sanders and Joshua Saulsberry - who are both 21 years old - along with 20-year-old Abraham Castillo and 20-year-old Tyree Singleton were arrested this week.

The L.A. County District Attorney's Office filed multiple counts against Sanders, Castillo, and Singleton to include murder, robbery, and attempted robbery.

One count of robbery was filed against Saulsberry.

The incident happened on Nov. 23 outside of the Bossa Nova Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. Police say they found 23-year-old Jose Ruiz Gutierrez shot to death.

Investigators believe the shooting was part of a series of "follow-home robberies."

At the time, LAPD Chief Michel Moore told the city's Police Commission that the crime was connected to another "follow-home robbery," in which robbers follow people who are wearing high-end jewelry or have expensive vehicles or other belongings.

According to an update issued by LAPD this week, detectives were able to recover several pieces of evidence regarding this case, including a handgun, a replica handgun, more than $30,000 in cash, handbags, a Rolex watch, gang paraphernalia, and two vehicles used during the crime.

Moore said Gutierrez was "coming to the aid of a female who was being attacked" when he was killed.

Police are now asking the public's help to find any additional victims.

If you or someone you know is a possible victim of a robbery by any of the suspects mentioned above, you're urged to contact LAPD.
