LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A new report by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority found that it would cost $657 million in the first year alone to provide temporary housing for every homeless person in the city.
That number dwarfs the $20 million dedicated to a new program to provide a limited number of shelters in each council district.

Councilman Mike Bonin says that, based on the report, it seems clear thousands of people will continue to be sleeping on the streets.
