Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash at Huntington Beach intersection

A woman's body was found on a street in Huntington Beach early Wednesday morning after she was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A woman's body was found on a street in Huntington Beach early Wednesday morning after she was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said.

The grim discovery was made about 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Seapoint Street, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The victim was not immediately identified.

No witnesses were located, and no description of the vehicle or suspect was available.
