Shootings kill 1, injure 2 overnight, according to Long Beach PD

LONG BEACH, Calif. (CNS) -- One person was killed and two were wounded in shootings in Long Beach overnight.

The first shooting was reported at 10:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Luray Street at Rose Avenue, according to Long Beach P.D.

One person was shot with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say there was a separate shooting in Carson overnight Saturday that left one man dead and another injured.

Initially, police said all three victims were from the same shooting.

The shootings remain under investigation.
