Moana

Voiced by Auli'i Carvalho, Moana is a young woman with great navigational talents with a love for adventure and the sea.
Maui

A once-powerful demigod, Maui is the courageous hero who accompanies Moana on her adventure. Seeing how Maui is so bulky, it's only appropriate that he's voiced by Dwayne Johnson.

Pua

Pua is Moana's pet pig that has the energy and innocence of a young puppy.

Hei Hei

Hei Hei isn't quite the smartest bird in the coop, but still manages to get a front row seat as Moana embarks on her journey. The goofy but lovable rooster is voiced by Alan Tudyk.

Tui & Sina

Tempera Morrison plays Chief Tui, Moana's father, a leader that's cherished by the people of Moroni Island. Nicole Scherzinger plays Moana's mom Sina, who has a playful personality but still wants to protect her daughter from the dangers of the world.

Granna Tala

She may be older than Moana, but that hasn't stopped Granna Tala forming an incredibly strong bond with her sea-voyaging. granddaughter. Tala is Moana's best friend, and is played by Rachel House.

Kakamora

Watch out for these crazy pirates. The Kakamora have coconut armor and will go to any length to get what they want.

Tamatoa

Jemaine Clement voices this massive, 50-foot crab with an equally big personality to match. Tomato lives in Lalotai, the realm of monsters, and goes tries to hide his "bottom feeder" status by covering himself in all things shiny.
