Man shot, wounded in robbery attempt outside North Hollywood movie theater

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a man wounded outside a movie theater in North Hollywood.

They found him in a parking lot near Victory and Coldwater Canyon after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was rushed to the hospital. He's said to be in stable condition.

Police believe it may have been an attempted robbery. No description of the shooter was immediately available.
