PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (KABC) -- Extra police presence was expected at Palisades Charter High School on Tuesday after a threat was made earlier this year by a now-expelled student.
The student had given two dates for a shooting at the school. The first date already passed with no incident. The second date was Tuesday. The threat was deemed by authorities as not credible.

That student behind the alleged threat was expelled during the summer.
According to Los Angeles police, a rumor had been circulating that the student was set to return to school. Police emphasized that this is only a rumor, and the student remains expelled.
