Panga boat leaves 16 undocumented immigrants on OC shore

Sixteen suspected undocumented immigrants are in federal custody, after being rescued by the harbor patrol in Dana Point.
DANA POINT, Calif. (KABC) -- Sixteen suspected undocumented immigrants are in federal custody, after being rescued by the harbor patrol in Dana Point.
The group was dropped off by a panga boat around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Several crews from the Coast Guard and the Orange County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.
Authorities were not able to locate the boat that dropped them off.
