ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- A brush fire sparked along the 91 Freeway Monday grew quickly, prompting a closure of eastbound lanes and triggering evacuations in several Orange County cities.
The fire spread to an Anaheim Hills neighborhood where homes began to burn. Multiple houses could be seen engulfed in flames.
The Anaheim Fire and Rescue Department said the blaze, which has been dubbed the Canyon Fire 2, quickly spread with winds in the area estimated to be around 25 mph.
