LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- City officials announced a $60,000 reward for information on the death of James Jackson, a West Los Angeles man who was shot to death in August 2015.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. on Aug. 26 on the 3100 block of Canfield Avenue in West Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department does not have any suspects, and the biggest clue is surveillance video from a neighbor's camera. The camera caught only a glimpse of a vehicle fleeing the scene. It is described as a white 2000 to 2005 compact, similar to an Acura, with a high spoiler in the back.
The City Council initially announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to the suspects' arrest and then Councilman Paul Koretz said his office would add $10,000 to the amount.
