This year's festival will bring three unforgettable events to the Olvera Street Southside Plaza on Sunday, Aug. 24.
The one-day event, celebrating inclusion and representation, includes a free family day from 12-6 p.m. at the iconic Placita Olvera Gazebo.
Executive director and founder Oliver Alpuche said this year's festival will highlight Latin excellence, with a lineup of diverse acts and performers on the Latin Stage.
"What DTLA Proud wants to bring to the table is a place where you could see yourself on the main stage, where you could see yourself in the audience," Alpuche said.
Attendees can also enjoy carnival games, face painting and a variety of free resource booths to learn about support available for LGBTQ+ families, youth and allies.
In the heart of Southside Plaza, a 21-and-up DTLA Proud Block Party and Marketplace will happen from 12-8 p.m., featuring more than 20 queer and drag artists.
"DTLA Proud is going to look a little different this year," Alpuche said. "We want to bring everyone together in one day, (and) it'll just be a fun time to really connect with the community and showcase the talent that is in downtown."
The block party and this year's SUMMERTRAMP party require a ticket, available now online.
Live DJs will spin beats at the Block Party, while more than 50 vendors invite you to enjoy one-of-a-kind art, fashion and collectables.
In the Rainbow District Bar Hub, revelers will also find signature cocktails and good vibes.
At La Plaza de Cultura y Artes, SUMMERTRAMP will invite visitors to a celebration of identity and expression.
The event encourages everyone to get immersed in dazzling pool parties, art installations and surprise pop-up experiences.
SUMMERTRAMP is open to visitors ages 21 and up.
Proceeds from both ticketed events support LGBTQ+ initiatives in downtown Los Angeles.
The festival is located at 535 N Main St., in Los Angeles.
