6 hospitalized after being exposed to unknown substance at Tarzana rehab facility

TARZANA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- More than a dozen people became sick at a home in Tarzana off Cassandra Street and Amigo Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Six people were taken to the hospital after being exposed to an unknown substance. Eleven other patients were treated on scene.

Fire officials say this is a sober living and recovery center. Signage on the home identified the building as Legacy Healing Center.
