UPLAND, Calif. (KABC) -- The Upland Police Department is praising one of its corporals and K-9s for finding hidden drugs during a traffic stop.

On Tuesday, Cpl. Hanley and K-9 Petey stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation when the dog alerted on the car, the agency said in a social media post.

Just over 66 pounds of cocaine were found in a hidden compartment in the car and seized.

"Drugs off the street, smuggler went to jail, and our good boy got a steak," the department said in the post.
