Amber Alert issued for parts of SoCal for 3-month-old baby abducted in Bay Area, CHP says

An Amber Alert was in effect Wednesday morning for a 3-month-old baby believed to have been abducted, and residents in parts of Southern California were asked to watch out for the child, the suspect and the vehicle involved.

The California Highway Patrol issued the alert on behalf of police in Hayward, which is located in the Bay Area. The alert was in effect for Alameda, San Joaquin, Kern and Los Angeles counties.

The child, Maxence Sirois, and the suspect, 42-year-old Marina Kazakova, were last seen Sunday morning in Northern California.



Kazakova is believed to be driving a white 2016 Mazda CX-5 with the California license plate YSJW989.
