SILVER LAKE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Actor Raymond Cruz is out of police custody after he was arrested for allegedly spraying water at a group of women.

It happened on Monday outside of his home in the Silver Lake area.

His agent told Eyewitness News that the women were harassing the "Breaking Bad" actor. They say the women aren't from the area, but they called the cops on Cruz.

He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Cruz was later released, but he has a court hearing next month.

His agent said he has no criminal history, and they look forward to clearing his name from the incident.

"Raymond is happy this is done with. He is a big supporter of law enforcement and has no criminal history whatsoever. He has no idea who these women are or why they were harassing him in front of his own home while he was trying to wash a car. They were not neighbors," the agent's statement read.

Cruz is well known for his portrayal of Tuco Salamanca in "Breaking Bad" and its prequel "Better Call Saul," but also has notable roles in "The Closer," "Major Crimes" and "Training Day."
