CASTAIC, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County firefighters made quick work of a 6-acre brush fire near Castaic Lake in the Angeles National Forest Saturday morning.
The blaze erupted near Templin Highway and the 5 Freeway around 10:30 a.m., and was initially spreading uphill to the east.
Air and ground crews responded to attack the blaze. The U.S. Forest Service also responded to the scene.
The fire was quickly mopped up. No injuries were reported.
