EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Several lanes of the eastbound 134 Freeway in Eagle Rock were shut down Friday after a brush fire broke out.

Trees and brush were first reported to be on fire at about 6:15 p.m. along the freeway near Figueroa Street. The flames burned 1.5 acres over a 2 mile stretch of the freeway.
By about 6:45 p.m., traffic was reduced to one lane.
Los Angeles and Glendale firefighters responded to the incident.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
