SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KABC) -- The Pan African Film and Arts Festival (PAFF) returns to Baldwin Hills Crenshaw with a special summer showcase from Thursday, August 21, through Sunday, August 24.

This art festival showcases numerous artworks from artists across the African Diaspora.

There will be fine art, photography, handmade jewelry, fashion, sculpture, and crafts, all celebrating Black creativity, community, and culture.

Attendees can expect an immersive experience where they can explore, shop, and network with other artists.

"Artfest is more than an art show-it's a marketplace of ideas, culture, and connection," said Allohn Agbenya, PAFF Artfest Curator and Ghanaian artist. "By bringing the festival back to Baldwin Hills Crenshaw, we're honoring our roots in South Los Angeles while continuing to uplift and celebrate global Black artistry."

Alongside the free artist showcase, the four-day festival will feature special film screenings, panel discussions, and a variety of cultural events.

The Pan African Film Festival was postponed in February due to the wildfires that occurred earlier this year.

The event is free and open to the public
