The chase ended around 9:20 p.m. when Los Angeles police executed a PIT maneuver, causing the suspect's car to spin out near Eads Street and Riverside Drive in Elysian Valley.
The suspect's car came to a complete stop and the driver surrendered without incident.
Prior to the PIT maneuver, the LAPD patrol vehicle was feet away from the fleeing car as both vehicles went down Riverside Drive.
Police believed the suspect's car was possibly stolen.
