Chase suspect in custody after abandoning RV and trailer on train tracks in Irwindale

IRWINDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A chase ended Wednesday morning when a suspect abandoned an RV on railroad tracks in Irwindale before being apprehended by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies, authorities said.

The RV was towing a trailer, which became dislodged from the RV sometime before the suspect got out near the 210 Freeway at Irwindale Avenue and attempted to flee on foot.

The circumstances that prompted the pursuit were not immediately clear.



The RV and the trailer remained on the tracks at separate locations as of 8 a.m.
