Chase suspect reportedly ejected after crashing on 110 Freeway in South LA

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A suspect who led police on a brief chase was reportedly ejected from a vehicle after crashing on the 110 Freeway in the South Los Angeles area early Thursday morning.

Officers initiated the pursuit on the southbound side of the freeway at Martin Luther King Boulevard for a vehicle with mismatching plates around 3:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The chase only lasted about a minute before the suspect crashed on the freeway at Vernon Avenue.

Police say a person was ejected from the vehicle, but could not confirm if it was the suspect.

Video from the scene shows the suspect being treated by first responders.
