This dessert destination is located in the city of Lakewood at the Westlake Plaza.
Owner Nicole Green bakes it all, serving full cakes in several sizes, as well as a large variety of cookies and a delicious peach cobbler.
And of course, at Coco's Lip Smacking Cupcakes, red velvet is the top seller.
"I quickly learned there was not enough money in just cupcakes," Green said. "So, I taught myself how to do cakes and custom cakes, custom cupcakes and then slowly started adding on to my menu."
If you're planning for the holidays, you can order big trays of her cobbler and festive Thanksgiving cupcakes.
"Everyone loves the fact that our desserts are not overly sweet," Green said. "I feel like that really sets us apart from other people because it's just the right amount of sweetness."
Nicole said the support she's received from the city of Lakewood and surrounding communities is unmatched.
"I love the community so much," Green said. "Even before we opened, we got so much support from the Lakewood Chamber and the city of Lakewood. They were at my grand opening. The mayor was there, the city council."
Coco's Lip Smacking Cupcakes is open Wednesday through Sunday.
