'Code Black' documentary explores real-life ER drama

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- "Code Black" is an eye-opening documentary shot in the emergency department at a Los Angeles County hospital.

The director started college planning to be a screenwriter when he was diagnosed with a rare stage-four lymphoma. Instead, he became a doctor so he could give back. This film is a combination of both passions.
