RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- It's a project that's taken more than two years to complete but the long-anticipated opening of the 215 Freeway carpool lanes between Riverside and San Bernardino counties has arrived.

Although crews have encountered a number of obstacles during construction, including a gas main break and moving giant bridges into place, the project has finally been completed.
