3 men to be arraigned in ambush-style killing of 22-year-old aspiring singer in Northridge

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Three men charged in the killing of 22-year-old Maria De La Rosa, an aspiring Latin singer who was fatally shot in an ambush-style attack in Northridge in November, are scheduled to appear in court Monday for their arraignment.

Prosecutors have charged all three suspects with murder.

De La Rosa, known professionally as DELAROSA, was was in the passenger seat of a parked car with friends when investigators say the suspects walked up to the car, demanded money and started shooting.

If convicted, the suspects face life in state prison without the possibility of parole.
