For the company's 30th anniversary, it decided to bring back, with some new stuff, one of its very popular holiday shows, "Die Heart."
"If you've never seen the movie, 'Die Hard,' come to this show. You'll have a great time. If you've seen the movie before, you're going to ask, 'What the hell did they do to the movie?'" said Matt Walker, director and performer with the Troubadour Theater Company.
What the "Troubies" did was blend "Die Hard" with the music of award-winning band, Heart.
"From the first scene, from the second we come on, this is coming at your full throttle. You know the movie. You see the characters right in the first number," said Beth Kennedy with the Troubadour Theater Company.
"We got confetti. We got streamers. We got Nerf guns up the wazoo!" Walker said.
The villain in "Die Hard" is of course Hans Gruber. On this stage, he's played by one of the group's veterans, thrilled to celebrate a milestone for the Troubies.
"We're really excited, kicking in our 30th year. I think we can go for 30 more. We're looking for another guy, George!" said Rick Batalla.
You can see "Die Heart: The Director's Cut" through Dec. 21s at the Colony Theatre in Burbank.
