Eastbound 91 Freeway shut down in Buena Park after deadly crash

All lanes of the eastbound 91 Freeway were shut down in Buena Park Friday morning following a crash that left three people dead, authorities said.

BUENA PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A crash involving a big rig and a pickup truck left three people dead and lanes closed on the eastbound 91 Freeway in the Buena Park area Friday morning.

The crash happened just before 4 a.m. at Valley View Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deceased victims were reportedly all in the pickup truck.

The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down all eastbound lanes except the slow lane as the on-scene investigation continued.
