Gorski was arrested in June on suspicion of molesting a 13-year-old member of his congregation between June 12, 2007 and June 11, 2008 at various locations in Buena Park.
Before the suspected sex crimes, Gorski was employed as a school teacher at Southwestern Longview Private School in Long Beach for four years until April 2007 when the campus closed. The 13-year-old was a student in one of Gorski's classes, according to authorities.
Authorities said at the time of the suspected crimes, Gorski was an active member of a Jehovah's Witness congregation in Cypress. The defendant is accused of violating his position of leadership and trust as an elder.
In 2010, Gorski moved to South Carolina and began attending a Jehovah's Witness congregation in nearby Charlotte, North Carolina.

The teen reported the sexual abuse to authorities recently, which led to Gorski's arrest by the Buena Park Police Department.
He appeared in court Thursday and was released on $100,000 bail until his arraignment on Oct. 21 at a Fullerton court.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with more information is urged to call Supervising District Attorney Investigator Mark Gutierrez at (714) 347-8794.
