Evacuation orders, warnings lifted for 30-acre brush fire in Chino Hills

CHINO HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- A brush fire burning in Chino Hills sparked evacuation orders in San Bernardino County on Wednesday night.

This Grand Fire is burning near Grand Avenue and Pleasant Hill Drive, near the border with Diamond Bar.

AIR7 video shows crews doing water drops from the sky. Meanwhile, video from the ground shows the view from nearby neighborhoods, where the flames and thick smoke were visible.

The fire initially sparked evacuation orders and warnings for nearby residents.



Fortunately, the Cal Fire San Bernardino Unit says weather conditions are cooperating, and all evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted. Officials said the fire is holding at 30 acres with 0% containment.



One firefighter was reportedly transported to a local hospital with a minor injury.
