Hazmat crew responds to Huntington Beach home to investigate suspicious substance

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Hazmat crews responded to a home in Huntington Beach overnight to investigate a suspicious substance.

The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. Monday on Delaware Street, according to the Metro Cities Fire Authority, but the scene has since been cleared.

Details on the investigation remain limited. Authorities have not confirmed exactly what the substance was, or the condition of a patient at the scene.
