Investigators ask public for help identifying woman found dead near mountain in Crestline

CRESTLINE, Calif. (KABC) -- Investigators in San Bernardino are asking the public for help identifying a woman who was found dead on the side of a mountain in Crestline.



The woman's body was found last Tuesday just before noon near Highway 138 and Crestline Road.

Deputies found her about 75 feet down a steep embankment, according to authorities. Investigators said her injuries appeared to be consistent with a fall.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Division says she's between 48 and 60 years old. She's about 5 foot 1 and weighs 115 pounds.



She has bleach blonde hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue pants and white and black New Balance shoes.
