Dornan, 32, is seen giving off a smoldering look to the camera while wearing a leather jacket and sitting in the driver's seat of a car.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" and its sequels depict the sadomasochistic and romantic relationship between wealthy businessman Grey and college student Anastasia Steele.
It was confirmed in September that Dakota Johnson, an actress who starred in "The Social Network" and is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, will play Anastasia.
Dornan was announced as the new lead in late October after "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam left the film.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is set for released on Feb. 13, 2015.
