LAPD investigating death of 4-year-old boy possibly left inside vehicle in Valley Village

VALLEY VILLAGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are investigating the death of a young child in Valley Village Tuesday afternoon.

LAFD personnel responded around 3:40 p.m. to a call for medical aid in the 12700 block of McCormick Street, according to the Fire Department.

The LAPD told Eyewitness News that a 4-year-old boy was possibly left inside a vehicle.

Footage shows multiple officers at the scene with crime-scene tape blocking off an area of the neighborhood. A white tent covered a part of a vehicle.
