AIR7 HD was over the scene where the uprooted tree left behind an extensive amount of damage to the front portion of the home. At least two cars were also heavily damaged.

A couple and two dogs were home when it came crashing down. One of the people sustained a minor injury but did not need to be taken to the hospital.

When they heard the tree coming down, they hid under a sewing table to protect themselves.

Details about caused the tree to fall over were not available, but a neighbor said it sounded like an earthquake.

"God, they're lucky to be alive," said Andrew Gonzales. "...They were just very shaken."

The home has been red-tagged. The Red Cross also responded to assist the couple, who rent the home, with housing.
